Bangalore, March 7, 2007: SOAMatrix, a fast-growing startup with a vision for market requirements and significant customer traction that focuses on Enterprise solutions for Service Oriented Architecture Governance and Management, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with the Open Service Oriented Architecture (OSOA) collaboration.
The partnership will enable SOAMatrix to work closely with OSOA to leverage the benefits of and contribute toward standards such as Service Component Architecture (SCA). The partnership also reiterates SOAMatrix vision of being a thought leader in the Service Oriented Architecture space and compliance to industry standards. SOAMatrix expects SCA to help move the industry toward a model in which components can be connected and assembled using a common framework.

The Collaboration is not a Standards Body; it is a set of vendors who wish to innovate rapidly in the development of this programming model and to deliver Specifications to the community for implementation. These specifications are made available to the community on a Royalty Free basis for the creation of compatible implementations. When mature, the intent is to hand these specifications over to a suitable Standards Body for future shepherding.
