SOAIntegrator empowers enterprises to achieve rapid and cost-effective integration, business process automation and increased agility in their businesses by leveraging existing software resources. Existing applications are exposed as services and these services are orchestrated to build a composite application to achieve enterprise integration and business process automation.

SOAIntegrator is a comprehensive integration product that has the following components:

The new capabilities of SOAIntergrator include:

• High Availability: A system design protocol and associated implementation that ensures a certain absolute degree of operational continuity during a given measurement period
  
• Clustering: SOAIntegrator needs to scale to support higher load. Clustering enables the systems to provide scalability with failover support
  
• BPMN: Provides BPMN editor and conversion of the BPMN artefacts to executable BPEL
  
• WS Security Support: WS-Security describes enhancements to SOAP messaging, to provide quality of protection through message integrity, message confidentiality, and single message authentication to accommodate a wide variety of security models and encryption technologies
  
• New Mediators:
  
• Smooks Mediator: Used to plug in the Smooks transformation engine and perform transformation
  
• Script Mediator: Used to add a new mediation using a scripting language. Some supported scripting languages are groovy, Bsh, Velocity, etc
  
• SOAStore Mediator: Used to lookup data from the SOAStore registry repository
  
• New Transports:
  
• RMI: Used to invoke a remote method by lookup of the object at an RMI Server. It sends back the output of remote method invocation as a SOAP Message
  
• Socket: Used to interact with any TCP socket and process the stream data flow
  
• CommandExecution: Sending a request to the endpoint triggers the command execution. The Command Execution transport can be used to communicate with such an endpoint
  
• JMX: Used to communicate with the MBean (Managed Bean) Server and invoke the operation exposed as MBean
  
• SFTP: SFTP is an interactive file transfer protocol, similar to FTP, which performs all operations over an encrypted transport
  
• SOAStore Transport: SOAIntegrator can connect to SOAStore Registry and Repository and fetch data
  
• New features in human workflow:
  
• Attachments supported: Files (text files, images and so on) can be attached to the human tasks either in the UI or from a BPEL process
  
• Work-list UI: Provides work-list UI for admin users, who can see all the tasks in read-only mode. Users having roles as ‘TaskAdministrator’ will be directed to Work Flow Task List page where the admin user can view all the tasks created
  
• Audit Trail of Tasks: Admin user can view the audit trail of any task
  
• Filters on task metadata: User can filter the tasks using the provided filters
  
• Configurable Filters: The user can configure ‘Filters on Task specific input’ since it filters on the values which are contained in the deployed xform
  
• Notification: Notification sent to the TaskManager process on task reassign
  
• Integration with SOAStore Users and Roles: Using SOAStore for user authentication and role based authorization
  
• ESB and Process server as NT Services.
